Dear Lord, after all these days praying to You, loving You we haven't learned the lesson of true humility. Our feelings are easily ruffled. Quick to offence and slow to forgive. Lord teach us the importance and necessity of this virtue which You have. Lord You are Son of God but love poor and needy, show the light of Your love to all from all caste, creed and sect. Lord help us to follow the example of St Anthony, Example of Humility.

You came into the world to heal our infirmities and to endure our sufferings. You went about healing all and bringing comfort to those in pain and need. We come before You in this time of illness asking that You may be source of strength in body, courage in spirit and patience in pain. Lord protect us and restore us to health so that we are united more closely to Your family, the Church, we may give praise and honour to Your name.
