At that time Jesus went through the grainfields on the sabbath; his disciples were hungry, and they began to pluck heads of the grain and to eat. When the Pharisees saw it, they said to him, ` Look, your disciples are doing what is not lawful to do on the sabbath.' He said to them,` Have you not erad what David did when he and his companions were hungry. He entered the house of God and ate the bread of the Presence, which it was not lawful for him or his companions to eat, but obly for the priests. Or hahve you not read in the law that on the sabbath the priests in the temple break the sabbath and yet are guiltless. I tell you, something greater than the temple is here.But if you had known what this means, `I desire mercy and not sacrifice,' you would not have condemned the guiltless. For the Son of Man is lord of sabbath.'

Mother Teresa will be declared saint on September 4. According to media reports some half a million are expected to throng at the ceremony at Vatican. Beloved Mother Teresa, iconic figure of 20th century, who gathered attention for her dedicated work for the poor will become Saint after the mass at St Peter's square led by Pope Francis. Programmes including seminars, feast, musical events and prayers will also be organised based on the message of social justice. While in Kolkatta book launch, art shows will be organized. 

मदर टेरेसा ऐसी शख्सियत जो गरीबों की सेवा के लिए जानी जाती हैं।  मदर टेरेसा का जन्म 26 अगस्त 1910 को स्कोप्जे मैं हुआ था।  उन्होंने 1916 में दृढ़ीकरण संस्कार प्राप्त किया।   बचपन से ही उनके मन में  प्रभु के प्रति अगाध प्रेम था जिसके फलस्वरूप वे 1928 में  मिशनरी कार्य के प्रति समर्पित हो गयी। उन्होंने  इन्सिटीट्यूट ऑफ़ ब्लेस्ड वर्जिन मेरी जो सिस्टर्स ऑफ़ लोरेटो के नाम से जाना जाता है में प्रवेश लिया।  संसथान ने उन्हें नाम दिया` सिस्टर मैरी ऑफ़ टेरेसा'। मदर टेरेसा 1929 में पहली बार भारत आयी।  भारत में उन्हें कलकत्ता में सेंट मैरी स्कूल ऑफ़ गर्ल्स मे पढ़ाने का कार्य दिया।  और यही नींव डली मदर टेरेसा के मदर टेरेसा बनाने की। मदर टेरेसा के मन में करुणा और दया भरी थी और वे सेवाभाव से हर कार्य करती थीं।   1944 में वे स्कूल के प्रिंसिपल बनी।  मदर टेरेसा के जीवन का टर्निंग पॉइंट 1946 में आया जब मदर टेरेसा को प्रभु से प्रेरणा मिली जो उनके अनुसार `बुलाहट के अंदर बुलाहट' है। मदर टेरेसा के अनुसार तब से  प्रभु ईसा की प्रेम के लिए प्यास उनके जीवन का लक्ष्य बन  गयी।  मदर टेरेसा के अनुसार प्रभु ईसा ने अपने हृदय के इच्छा `उनका प्रेम के प्रकाश को मनुष्यों के हृदयो में प्रकाशमान करो' उन्हें बताई। प्रभु ईसा ने उन्हें बताया की वे गरीबो के दशा देख कर दुखी हैं तथा चाहते हैं की मदर टेरेसा मिशनरीज़ ऑफ़ चैरिटी की स्थापना करें ताकि वे गरीब से गरीब की सेवा कर सकें। 1948   मिशनरीज़ ऑफ़ चैरिटी की स्थापना हुई।  और शुरू हुआ  का गरीबो, बच्चो, बूड़ो के सेवा का सिलसिला।  मदर टेरेसा के हर दिन की शुरुआत परमप्रसाद से होती थी।  रोजरी हाथ में लिए वे गरीबो के सेवा में प्रभु ईसा की सेवा के लिए निकल जाती।  इसमें उनका साथ दिया उनकी छात्राओं ने।  फिरउन्होंने कई देशों में संस्थाओ की स्थापना की और  सेवा करना प्रारम्भ किया।  मदर टेरेसा को उनके सेवा कार्यो के लिए कई अवार्ड्स मिले जिनमे 1979 में नोबल शांति पुरस्कार प्रमुख है।

The globalized world has money, riches but not peace. Peace is the core of a enlightened soul. This was realized by saints and they made prayers which do not ask for riches but for peace. We find people running from one place to other from one spiritual leader to another because they are not having peace within. The words of the prayer gives us the way also to have peace of mind and soul.

Luke 19:1-10

He entered Jericho and was passing through it. A man was there named Zacchaeus ; he was a chief tax collector and was rich. He was trying to see who Jesus was but on account of the crowd he could not because he was short in stature. So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore tree to see him because he was going to pass that way. When Jesus came to the place, he looked up and said to him,"Zacchaeus, hurry and come don; for I must stay at your house today." So he hurried down and was happy to welcome him. All who saw it  began to grumble and said "He has gone to be the guest of one who is a sinner." Zacchaeus stood there and said to the Lord,"Look, half of my possessions, Lord, I will give to the poor; and if I have defrauded anyone of anything, I will pay back four times as much." Then Jesus said to him,"Today salvation has come to this house'.

The cool breeze is trying hard to make me shiver as I was sitting in the lawn watching the ant`s parade. Sometimes by pouring some droplets of water, sometimes shaking the trees causing it to shed old wet leaves and when it did not succeed it increased its speed blowing my hair and cloths. But..........I liked it.. 

The ants were shifting because of the rains. Hundreds of them, one following the other in perfect order. Who guide them, who disciplines them, whose command they follow........................the questions were knocking my mind but I had no answer. Sipping my coffee, which I prepared to use as a weapon against the cool naughty wind,I started relating ants with humans.

But in the process of relating ants with the humans, the reply to the questions which remained unanswered for ants were answered for humans. We have our guide, we have commandments to discipline us, we have our pastor to follow......................but than we often do not. 

Rust develops on iron and changes it to junk and our ignorance and thirst only for worldly pleasure do the same to us. Where your treasure is there will your heart be also [Mt6:21] So make your treasure in Gods love and protect your souls from the cool breeze who try to shake you.
